Residential Recovery Training Grounds
The Storm Shelter is a 13-month residential sobriety development program, targeting recovering addicts coming directly from in-patient treatment. We also accept individuals for 6-month relapse retraining on a case by case basis (with verified completion of in-patient treatment).

1-Month Phase
This phase is a one-month integration period. Everyone is assigned a mentor who will assist in the orientation process into sober living. During this time, the trainee will attend the required 7 meetings per week, 5 days per week gym attendance, client will secure a sponsor, begin their step work with the newly acquired sponsor, complete steps 1 and 2, secure employment (week 1) and select a home church. Phase 1 curfew and privileges. Red Phase Graduation Ceremony.
4-Month Phase
Residents no longer require an in-house mentor but rather fall under the supervision of House Manager/Asst. House Manager. Resident continues step work and is required to complete steps 3-6 (1 step per month) with assigned sponsor. 6 meetings per week (3 mandatory group meetings, 3 at the choice of resident with signatures- if a member of a small group at home church, attendance counts towards meeting requirement with small group leader signature), 5 days per week gym attendance. Resident will begin volunteering at home church. Phase 2 curfew and privileges, Sabbath is determined. Phase 2 Graduation Ceremony.
4-Month Phase
Residents are required to complete steps 7-10 (1 per month) with sponsor. 6 meetings per week (3 mandatory group meetings, 3 at the choice of resident with signatures- if a member of a small group at home church, attendance counts towards meeting requirement with small group leader signature) and 5 days per week gym attendance, resident continues volunteering at home church and begins 2 hours service work per week with local recovery nonprofit. Phase 3 curfew and privileges. Phase 3 Graduation Ceremony.
Phase 4: 3-Month Phase
Residents are required to complete steps 11-12 with assigned sponsor. 6 meetings per week (3 mandatory group meetings, 3 at the choice of resident with signatures- if a member of a small group at home church, attendance counts towards meeting requirement with small group leader signature), 5 days per week gym attendance, resident continues volunteering at home church and service work requirements. Phase 4 curfew and privileges. Blue Phase Graduation Ceremony.
1-Month Phase
5 meetings per week (3 mandatory group meetings, 2 at the choice of the resident with signatures- if a member of a small group at home church, attendance counts towards meeting requirement with small group leader signature) and 5 days per week gym attendance. Resident begins process of seeking new residence, continues volunteering at home church, no service work requirements. Phase 5 curfew and privileges. Program Graduation/ Fraternal Order of the STORM Induction Ceremony.
