Our founders, George and Meredith Shafer, know firsthand the devastation of addiction. After decades of bondage, George attempted to end his life on September 28th, 2013. Meredith was left to navigate the waters of recovery on her own. Through their hardships and struggles, they found restoration in their family through God, church, and available treatment options.
